Intimate Relationships Theories

What do you think of this theory?
When I first met the guy I am currently seeing, he said that he was not quick to be intimate. We have dated for almost 6 months, and have never had sex. I will add, that this “relationship’ was initiated by him. Anyway, I have come to believe that he may have Herpes, or some other STD. There is a mutual attraction, but he has not acted on it. He is not a virgin, or celibate for religious reasons. He dated someone I know a while ago, and she said that he spent the night at her house, in the same bed, and still didn’t have sex. I don’t believe that he is homosexual. My theory is that he begins relationships, and then abandons them when it would be standard time for intimate relations. I really like the guy, and my ex boyfriend had Herpes, but didn’t infect me. How could I approach him., without being offensive?
He may just want to take it slow at first. Why don’t you try asking him if that’s it? If it’s not it, the fact that you asked him might give him the chance to maybe tell you if it’s something else, like maybe an STD.
